I don’t reblog.
In fact, in all honesty? I kinda really hate reblogs… I know, I know; tumblr is pretty much “reblog place fantastic”, but I feel differently, blah blah blah.
ANYWAY.

I will link shit though. I don’t hesitate to do that. (I prefer this tumblr of mine to be reblog free).
So a friend of mine asked me to link this.

Note: I should be specific. I totally meant people who aren’t purchasing comics at all- like illegally downloading them for free, enjoying the book, but have no plans of actually purchasing it.

Purchasing Digital comic purchases and physical comic purchases are awesome and I appreciate anyone/everyone who actually goes out of their way to purchase these things. 
Thanks to those that support(even if it’s eventually supporting) comics.

Oh hey it’s a tumblrbot question so answering it totally shouldn’t make me feel sad and depressed!
Favorite inanimate object though… :I no ide, tumblrbot, no idea.

This certainly doesn’t apply to a good chunk of people on my dashboard, but I’ve certainly hopped outside of the people I follow on tumblr to see this happening WAY too much.

First off, if you’re going to repost artwork or something, it might be extremely intelligent to post a source link. Simply just posting a picture- especially artwork from the same artist- multiple times in your tumblr posts without giving credit to the source(even if the source is unknown you should at LEAST say so) kinda makes you look like the originator of the artwork and if that’s not true, it’s kinda like lying without lying, you know? That whole “I never said I drew it but I never said I didn’t draw it” thing.
Just… you know… as an artist and stuff, I certainly appreciate when people take the time to credit me(as well as linking back to the original image on my dA page or something), and I’m absolutely not fond of someone posting something I spent time on and getting all the traffic from that piece of work without redirecting people to my page.
See, when an image gets a lot of traffic or I can find out that people are telling ME SPECIFICALLY that they like “This thing I did”, it’s kind of a clue of what kind of prints I should do for Botcon or WWACC or whatever convention I’m going to- or if it’s an image I did to test the waters, I’d like to have that “yay or nay” response directly and not by running into it on someone else’s site where they posted an image I made(tampered/edited or un-tampered/edited).

Blah blah blah.
WHOLE POINT IS, if you’re gonna take the time to post it, probably best to credit the artist or whoever created the image. If you don’t know the source, just say so.

Again, etiquette people.
